Local search is just going to get bigger. The amount of people on the internet just keeps growing. When your grandma is using it, everyone is.

5 years ago when you looked up something on the internet you found a big national website that covered basically a general world wide topic. The Internet has changed since then, now we are pulling up Google to look for local dentist, contracts and resturants.

One thing I hate doing is looking up a local resturant that delivers and they don’t have a website or a full menu on their website. So I end up doing what most people do I order from someone else. As the internet continues to grow this is going to be more and more common.

The big plus with this is out of the thousands, maybe millions of resturants just a small percentage of them have websites. This also goes for those dentists, apartment complexs, neighborhoods and local niche retail stores.

Also there is very little competition trying to rank for these keywords and names
